Deadline for Symposium Pre-Registration: 15th May 2007.

Registration Fee

The registration fees cover free access to the conference halls, conference materials, proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches, and some social events (welcome reception, conference dinners).

Depending on support there will be a possibility of discount registration fees 100 EURO (135 USD, 400 PLN) for graduate* and PhD students*.

Registration Fee is separated from hotel payment.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be notified in writing to the Symposium Secretariat. Refunds will be made according to the policy detailed below:

• 100% refund for cancellations received by 31May 2007
• 50% refund for cancellations received by June 15, 2007
• No refund for cancellations received after June 30, 2007

In all cases taxes for administrative and banking expenses will be charged. All refunds will be made after the symposium.

Travel grants

Travel grants will be available for women from developing countries. In order to get it you must submit by e-mail an essay on SITUATION OF WOMEN SCIENTISTS AND ENGINEERS IN YOUR COUNTRY and PROPOSALS HOW TO CHANGE IT - to dr Anna Szemik-Hojniak .

Deadline for Travel Grant competition is 30 April.

Winners will be announced at the end of May. Priority will be given to applicants from Eastern Europe. Number of grants will depend on funding level available.

* For graduate and Ph.D. students, proof of student status,e.g.copy of a student card ot letter from the supervisor, should be sent to the Symposium Secretariat by e-mail or Fax.

** The registration fee of Accompanying person covers the two Conference Dinners.
